Role Purpose
The Finance Senior Analyst for Global Manufacturing & Quality within the Advanced Optics (AO) division is responsible for enabling comprehensive financial reporting and analysis to senior operations management and financial leadership. This role involves working closely with all AO manufacturing site. The analyst will partner with local finance & operations team(s) to enhance inventory reporting, assess risks, and identify inefficiencies in accounting & data analysis. Additionally, the role includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to complete discounted cash flow analysis, supporting capital projects, and facilitating key reporting objectives.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance or Accounting and have 5-10 years of progressive finance experience, preferably with a background in manufacturing or cost accounting. High mindfulness, proficiency in financial and manufacturing systems (such as SAP and Camstar), and strong skills in Microsoft Office products are essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage ambiguity, perform in a demanding environment, and proactively seek continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the reporting and analytical processes required to facilitate the clear articulation of Global Manufacturing & Quality to both senior management and senior financial leadership within the Advanced Optics division.
- Working with Plant Management at all AO Manufacturing sites
- Acts as FP&A support for consolidating Consolidate Monthly forecasts and results – articulate findings to Global MFG Controller and Plant Controllers
- Report and analyze global capital and inventory positioning; Help set capital and inventory targets (near and long term). Monitor KPI’s and create division templates on discounted cash flows, make vs. buy, break even etc.
- Collaborate closely with a cross-functional team and analyze local production build plans and their impacts on cost.
- Assist in researching transactional processes across the division to find systematic solutions.
- Facilitate “Plan of Record” reporting.

- Performance to Std of Bottle necks/SPOF
Experiences/Education - Required
- Bachelor of Science degree in Finance or Accounting
- 5-10 years of progressive Finance experience
- Preference will be given to candidates with manufacturing accounting or cost accounting background.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all reported numbers and analysis
- Has working knowledge of financial and manufacturing systems used (SAP, Camstar) & emerging digital technology (PowerBi, Power Automation)
- Has necessary level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products and uses these tools to work more efficiently and reduce time.
- Has a working knowledge of general accounting including Monthly Financial Statements.
- Able to manage through ambiguity and perform in a fast past environment.
- High energy and sense of urgency in completing all tasks.
- Proactive towards seeking continuous process improvement. Streamlining for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ability to embrace and drive change.
- Demonstrated flexibility to integrate new ideas, technologies with a strong intellect and data driven rigor.

The range for this position is $78,039.00 - $107,304.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
