Scope of Position:

In this role, you will enable Metrology manufacturing to meet customer orders involving high precision electro-optical assemblies and components.

 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Direct and prioritize activities of small team of contract and permanent resources. 
  • Establish and document manufacturing and service processes and checklists. 
  • You will support or lead continuous improvement activities, new product or process introductions, and cost reduction projects using lean six sigma practices. 
  • Work with other team members to tackle difficult technical engineering related problems. 
  • Support manufacturing with top level assembly and optical alignment work on all products among other tasks.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience 

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with hand tools and mechanical assembly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Function as part of a team
  • Ability to learn and grow
  • Prioritize and multi-task
  • Performance excellence training and project leadership a plus
  • Green Belt, Lean, or PQA experience

The range for this position is  $64,088.00   -  $88,121.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
