Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership in problem solving, and technical expertise, to ensure timely resolution of short-term process and equipment issues, and higher-level troubleshooting.
  • Lead projects on process continuous improvement, driving on cost reduction/ yield improvement/ capability enhancement etc.
  • Design and conduct experiment tests base on fundamental understanding and engineering experience, in solving problem and project execution
  • Supervise CM’s process engineers, frequently interacts with CM managers, and coordinate with internal cross-functional team to drive improvement in CM site.
  • Maintain internal capability matrix and do capability assessment for new coming sample requests.
  • Work with development team to receive new process/ product/ equipment transferred from Division engineering team.

 

Education & Experience

  • B.S. Degree or above in engineering - Chemical engineering, Material science, Mechanical engineering etc.
  • Experience with glass industry (glass finishing, acid etching, coating etc.), or semiconductor industry (litho, etching, coating etc.)
  • Preferred experience in working with contract manufacturers.

Required Skills                                                

  • 5+ years process engineering experience in mass production or development
  • Good oral/written English communication skill
  • Self-motivated, independent, flexible, quick learner
  • Customer oriented; meets customer needs with quality results
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with others
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully
  • Good data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Project leadership (scope to implementation)
