Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Job  Description :

  • Lead the production planning and scheduling processes for  fiber optic cable manufacturing operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop production plans based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
  • Ensure Material Availability   required for production continuity  via active planning ,collaboration with GSM ( Global Sourcing Management )
  • Monitor production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and optimize resource utilization.
  • Identify and address production bottlenecks and inefficiencies to improve overall operational performance.
  • Supervise a team of planners and coordinators, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
  • Generate regular reports on production metrics and performance indicators for management review.
  • Project Support ( Internal & External )

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in , Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management  or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning and scheduling within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the telecommunications or optical industry.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced planning tools , SAP experience preferable .
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different levels of the organization.
  • Leadership experience with a proven track record of coaching and developing teams.
  • Advanced English skills
  • Project Management /Team Member  experience
