The purpose of this position is:
This is an entry-level position. Manufacturing Associate I’s are responsible for learning and executing production processes to manufacture small parts of low to medium complexity using a variety of tools including tweezers, microscopes, and hand presses. Processes to learn include assembly, reading routers, work instructions and drawings.
This position includes significant duties such as:
• Work in a team environment to optimize output of quality product, assist others as necessary and promote safety awareness
• Learn to perform and become proficient with area operations for low to medium complexity products using a microscope and various small bench top tools
• Learn to perform routine maintenance on needed equipment
• Be able to identify parts and possess good manual dexterity to produce parts to required quality and quantity
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints, part identification, and record data in accordance with router, work instructions, and drawing instructions
• Perform inspection to identify good product from bad product and take appropriate corrective actions
• Associates are expected to know performance metrics and work toward targeted objectives
• Associates should proactively report any part, process, or equipment issues as soon as they become aware

Working Conditions: Working at a table with small parts, tools, and a microscope for the duration of the shift
Education: High School or General Education Diploma
Shift: 5:00 am - 13:30 pm / Monday to Friday
The range for this position is $20.00 hourly rate - $23.50 hourly rate. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
