Purpose of Position:


Drives internal and external marketing as well as marcom programs and initiatives for India leading to improved pipelines and pipeline tracking. Leveraging ATL, BTL, TTL and digital marketing to improve reach. Developing analytics for tracking various aspects of business including margins, performance tracking, data reporting, working with cross functional teams to own and report numbers across various functions. Look for gaps and recommends areas of action.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute India Marcom plan. Monitor progress, assure adherence, and evaluate performance.
  • Develop and execute India digital marketing strategy for the reach to end users. Local contents maintenance of Corning India Web Page and Corning approved social media platforms.
  • Organize and support conferences and tradeshows. Regional support for marketing collateral e.g., demo kit, customized flyer, brochure, catalog, giveaways etc. Serve as Project Manager for events, collateral production, and advertising development; selects external vendors and resources of execution of projects.
  • Design and lead branding campaign. Plan and execute PR events etc. Support promotion campaigns, customer seminars and channel partner events. Coordinate the appearance of all print and electronic materials.
  • Manage and coordinate vendors of advertising and promotion services, generating POs’ and tracking invoices with Finance dept.
  • Identify needs for marketing and marcom initiatives through discussions and understanding with sales and channel teams.
  • Data Management – 
  • Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources for various business groups, product groups, sales regions, brands etc. and maintaining tracking sheets. 
  • Create, own, and communicate monthly and weekly sales reports, channel, and key account performances.
  • Maintain sales and budget file for the region as well as for each sales territories/region. 
  • Create reports from time to time for Decision Analysis, examples - channel performance reports, product performance, margin performance reports. 
  • Run analytics for New Products, Differentiated products, opportunity funnel etc.
  • Measuring performances for each sales region on budget, New Products, Differentiated Products etc.  
  • Collaborates with various functions within India as well as with division for data management and maintain accuracy for the region.
  • Pricing Management – 
  • Maintain pricing files, provide analytics for pricing decision on ASP, MSP, pricing trends. 
  • Maintain repository for products, LP, TP, ASP, MSP, cost and create decisions making tool on appropriate LP and TP for new products. 
  • Review products in pricelist for addition and deletion of products from time to time for Corning, Axygen, Falcon and Gosselin etc. brands. Advice on pricelist timelines and own the pricelist publishing process.
  • Own and manage Special Price Request (SPR) process. 
  • Provide performance analytics for SPR - average discount, trend within the year and YOY for channels and Regional Sales Managers (RSMs’).
  • Develop and monitor CLS India % SGM analysis tool at Business Group, Brand, Product family and SKU level. 


  • Marketing Support 
  • Develop CLS India Marcom Plan and execution of key initiatives.
  • Maintaining inventory of appropriate literatures in prints. 
  • Create price lists for all Corning Brands and allocate them in each region.  
  • Monitor, recommend and create marketing collaterals like giveaways, banners, roadshow equipment inventory. 
  • Vendor management for marketing collaterals. 
  • Product mix recommendations for stocking, promotional offers and helping analyze SLOB. 
  • Help minimize SLOB with innovative recommendations. 


  • Performance Metrics
  • Execution and measuring performance for marketing programs
  • Enabling the sales team with lead traffic
  • Accuracy of data reporting and timing for data reporting
  • Monitoring pricing and costs and sharing inputs for correction and consistency


  • Travel Required: 15%-20% in a year


  • Key Competencies:
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office,
  • Strong understanding of ERPs, Power BI, SFDC etc.
  • Presentation skills.


  • Required Competencies (Education, Knowledge, Skills, Experience, Soft Skills) (Musts)
  • Bachelor’s degree or above of renown university.
  • Above 5 years working experiences, 3 to 5 years working experiences in Marketing Communication.
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experiences in the design and execution of marketing, communications, digital marketing, and public relations activities.
  • Communication skill, be able to communicate with external and internal customers and vendors.
  • Ability to develop content writing, making presentations and negotiating with media.
  • Good at composing a plan and execute the plan with close follow up. Act as project leader for Marcom activities.
  • Experiences in overseeing the design and production of marketing collaterals.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time. Experiences in developing and managing budgets.
  • Fluent in English both Oral and Written.
