Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute India Marketing Communications strategy using the right messages, methods, and medium to create a clear understanding of our offerings to targeted customers within the marketplace
  • Support overall business growth through integrated marketing communications campaigns, digital/social media campaigns, third-party partnerships, while managing external
  • Leveraging ATL, BTL, TTL and digital marketing to improve reach
  • Developing data analytics for tracking various aspects of business, including margins, performance tracking, reporting, working with cross functional teams to own and report numbers across various functions. Look for gaps and recommends areas of action.
    • Focus on business development while enhancing the Corning brand to support revenue growth.
    • Build and execute marketing communications plans for key businesses via efficient and intuitive marketing communications strategies
    • Develop and sustain conversations with stakeholders to ensure effective integration of marketing communications with business goals
    • Plan and deliver brand marketing strategy, annual marketing plan, key product positioning and messaging
    • Develop and execute digital media and promotional campaigns to create awareness, visibility, and drive traffic to website(s)/landing pages(s)
    • Lead and manage a full and cost-effective events (exhibitions, tradeshows, conferences) strategy
    • Identify partners to co-create content and events like podcasts, webinars, marketing outreach activities, etc.
    • Support Sales with marketing materials (print and digital)
    • Support Human Resources on internal and external employer branding initiatives, employee communications
    • Benchmark and measure the effectiveness of “selling messages” marketing communications projects and programs
    • Manage marketing communications budgets
  • Support the manager, MarCom India, with a focus on execution of strategic communications, vendors/marketing agencies to drive digital communications activities.

 

 

Required Skills

  • Good understanding of brand, digital marketing (social media marketing, search engine marketing), events strategies
  • Understands the B2B market and related business verticals; experience in life sciences, automotive, and optical is preferred
  • Must know email marketing tools like Marketo, Hootsuite, HubSpot
  • HubSpot inbound certification or/and working with Salesforce is a plus, along with Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent
  • Good understanding of Google Analytics or equivalent tools
  • Strong project management skills
  • Outstanding and clear intercommunication skills
  • Must have excellent understanding and use of English in long and short-form content
  • Strong writing and editing abilities, including proficiency in Associated Press style
  • Proactive, positive, and innovative mindset
  • Passionate storyteller who can persuade, inspire, and create emotional connections with target audiences

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or another related field required.
  • Minimum five years of communications experience, preferably in corporate communications, public relations, journalism, or communications-related field.
