Position Description

Scope of Position:
By combining supply chain domain expertise with deep analytical skills and advanced tools — including AI and Generative AI — we generate actionable insights that empower businesses to make strategic, impactful decisions.

Position Responsibilities:
•    Comprehend and convert business needs into technical specifications documents.
•    Design, prototype, and deploy GenAI-powered solutions (e.g., AI agents, copilots, RAG pipelines) that automate insight generation and augment analyst decision-making across GSM.
•    Apply prompt engineering and LLM orchestration techniques to build reliable, auditable AI workflows on enterprise data.
•    Apply unsupervised ML and statistical techniques to real supply chain datasets and translate outputs into actionable, business-ready recommendations.
•    Evaluate and responsibly deploy AI/ML outputs, applying judgment to validate accuracy, bias, and business relevance before insights reach stakeholders.

Required Skills (these are skills that candidate MUST possess)
•    Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computing, science or related field.
•    Minimum 5-6 years of experience in similar role.
•    Working proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and building predictive/prescriptive models.
•    Hands-on experience applying Generative AI / LLM tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI, ChatGPT/Claude) to real business or analytics workflows, including prompt engineering fundamentals.
•    Applied knowledge of  ML and statistical techniques (e.g., KMeans, Gaussian Mixture Models) to generate actionable business insights.
•    Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks, Snowflake) and modern data pipeline/ETL practices, including Delta Lake / Parquet-based architectures.
•    Highly skilled practitioner of business intelligence tools, especially Power BI, for data visualization and recommendations.
•    Experience in manufacturing and/or supply chain industries.

Desired Skills (these are additional skills that would differentiate the candidate) :
•    Experience building or integrating AI agents / agentic workflows using frameworks such as LangChain.
•    Exposure to MLOps practices (model versioning, monitoring, CI/CD for ML) and version control (Git).
•    Understanding of data governance and responsible AI principles (bias, explainability, data privacy) in an enterprise setting.
•    Experience with Microsoft Fabric or other unified analytics platforms.

Soft Skills (Communication/Team/Leadership)
•    Ability to articulate and convey complex technical solutions in simple, business-friendly terms to stakeholders at all levels.
•    Ability to collaborate with team members, functional and business stakeholders to deliver results.
•    Effectively juggling multiple projects and priorities to meet deadlines.
•    Critical thinking to evaluate, validate, and responsibly apply AI-generated outputs and recommendations rather than accepting them at face value.
