Role Purpose

Support product line management of Auto Interior 2D business that includes product offering, pricing strategy, placement planning and promotion, for the achievement of desired product line sales growth and profitability; serve as a key interface with commercial, finance, market intelligence, manufacturing, quality and engineering organizations for day to day operations. Data analytical skills and ability to drive actions with different functional teams as core competencies.    


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the data analysis from market data, RFQ, product attributes, customer segmentation, according to the business plan and product line plan
  • Track the performances of assigned products, maintain data bases of product line management by product attributes and projects
  • Support the execution of commercial plans, identification of critical supply chain to deliver, and channel and pricing strategy to win
  • Support the development and articulation of 2D product line plans, value proposition, Green Book (5-year plan) and Black Book (Budget)
  • Lead/support the new product feasibility studies and the product developments
  • Lead/support commercial process improvement around sample prioritization, forecasting, NPI data analysis, reporting and execution on sample decision and plans
  • Support key strategic programs and/or SWAT projects as required
  • Responsible to define sales pitch, customer presentation and internal training material
  • about 25% travel


Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
  • 5 years+ Experience in a product or commercial function, preferably experience in high-tech, display technology, consumer electronics or automotive industry
  • Product Management Experience as a plus.     

Required skills: 

  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills, able to turn quantitative analysis into meaningful business insights
  • Knowledge of marketing, business analysis and commercial operations
  • Demonstrated ability to interface and team with people across functional and geographic boundaries
  • Excellent English/Chinese communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage business relationships using combination of data driven analysis, strategic thinking, networking and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced working environment
