Corning’s Environmental Technologies segment manufactures ceramic substrates and filter products for emissions control in mobile and stationary applications around the world.

Responsibility:

  1. Conduct equipment troubleshooting and problem solving to support the production
    in existing control system.

  2. Supervise fabrication and installation of electrical and controls panels and interface
    to process equipment.

  3. Work with project team to deliver equipment line to plant as control receiver.

  4. Work with cross function team to resolve rough technical issues.

  5. Provide job related training for electrical technician & electricians. Take responsibility
    of building and improving the technical strength of the maintenance team in
    electrical/control areas.

  6. Comply with safety, quality, and IP requirements. Continuously look for
    further improvements of equipment.

  7. Strive for continuous improvement opportunities to deliver business objectives such
    as capacity, cost and quality.
     
    Requirement:
     

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation or equivalent.

  2. 5+ years’ experience of equipment engineering in manufacturing
    environment.

  3. Master PLC/HMI programming and be able to read electrical drawings/schematics.

  4. Familiar with Motion/Vision technology.

  5. Good English-speaking level.

  6. Good team player.

  7. Knowledge of KT/DMAIC is a plus.
