Day to Day Responsibilities:
•    Lead to define and align CM specification/inspection/measurement, release CM Drawing and review technical feasibility through APQP process.
•    Be able to respond quickly to CM qualification requests, quality issues, and production upsets.
•    Support incumbent team to focus on internal NPI Yield improvement objectives and APQP support.
•    Partner with dedicated cross functional team to continuously improve CM qualification and quality management processes efficiency.
•    Develop good understanding of CM capabilities and processes. Gain insight on CM pricing based on capability understanding and support CM price negotiation.
•    Be the technical SME in the plant for cutting/grinding/2.5D polishing process. Work with equipment engineers to optimize process/equipment interactions.  Work with other process areas to identify process interactions. 
•    Supports new product/process introductions through equipment installation, process certification, documentation, and training. 
•    Weekend and shift coverage is requirement as needed.

Education & Experience  
•    Mechanical Engineering or related majors. 
•    Bachelor or above. 
•    3 yrs. or above experience of cover glass cutting/grinding/2.5D polishing.
•    Automotive industry experience, familiar with IATF16949 quality system and APQP process.
•    Supplier quality management experience and skills. 

Required Skills                                                
•    Glass cutting/grinding/2.5D polishing process knowledge and proficient troubleshooting skills. 
•    Demonstrated ability to work with cross function team and leadership to solve engineering problems. 
•    Logic thinking and desire to fundamental understanding.
•    Dare to think and do when facing with complex/difficult problems.
•    Good oral and written communication skill, including in English.

Desired Skills  

•    Experience within automotive glass manufacturing is a plus.
•    Glass coating process knowledge and troubleshooting skills is a plus.
