Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

•    Manage calibration lab in CDT HF plant.
•    Oversee, maintain, and enhance the calibration system, including the execution of periodic calibration, improvement of calibration methods, and related activities.
•    Collaborate with plant teams to perform calibration tasks and ensure instruments are in optimal working condition”
•    Work closely with the project team to integrate new calibration items into the calibration system
•    Partner with equipment team to conduct Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R) analysis
•    Foster and promote a strong calibration culture within the organization
•    Provide support for Quality System (QS) initiatives at the plant level and across the region

Education & Experience

•    B.S or above degree in Engineering relative major 
•    At least 3 years quality system related work experience 

Required Skills

•    Good knowledge in quality calibration field 
•    Good English comprehension in spoken, writing and reading.
•    Good communication and coordination skill for cross department cooperation
•    Familiar with calibration gauge operation

Desired Skills

•    Logical thinking & problem solving and decision skill.
•    Excellent in data analysis/ Statistical using skill are prefer.
•    Digital related skill or experience, such as Python, Power BI, etc.
•    Project management(6σ, PM, LEAN, FMEA etc.) skill or experience.
•    Familiar with FMEA and SPC

 

Soft Skills
•    Proactive, eager to take on challenges, and committed to working diligently and efficiently.
•    Good personality, cooperation, and negotiation skill.
•    Influence others, gains cooperation from others to obtain information and accomplish goals.
