Purpose of the Position:

  • Support CET China’s business growth and operations opportunities. Provide regional engineering expertise in the areas of electrical & controls engineering solutions / upgrade / project leadership etc. and train plant partners.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Keep close contact with DivE US, Europe and plant partners for timely communication and issue resolution.
  • Provide capital project leadership for project with intermediate scope, include but not limited to project planning, resources, AR initiation, spending control, production scale up.
  • Develop partnerships with USA & German teams for technology development & fundamental understanding
  • Partner with plant engineering for effective implementation of process or equipment / controls changes.
  • Provide higher level engineering support for plant troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Lead or provide appropriate support on equipment controls issues investigation and analysis, solutions and permanent corrective actions implementation.
  • Work with plant engineering and through them to make continuous improvements and reduce process/equipment variation.
  • Build effective relations and interactions with internal/external customers and stakeholders.


Education & Experiences:

  • BS/MS degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation or equivalent.
  • 7+ years’ experience on the position of equipment engineering in manufacturing environment, including 2+ years in multi-national company.
  • Track record of performance working in a multi-national company.
  • Experiences in working with and/or supervising project teams.
  • Solid project management experience demonstrated.
  • Former experience with involvement in earlier stage innovation programs preferred.
  • 3+ years supervisory experience preferred.


Required Skills:

  • Proficient in PLC & HMI programming
  • Understand of classical control theory and thorough knowledge of AC and DC circuits
  • Knowledgeable of manufacturing systems and have adequate technical expertise.
  • Rich experiences on production floor equipment and good sense of machine/process control.
  • Systematic way of problem solving and decision making, experience of KT, DMAIC, MEE.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with FMEA and/or PQA
  • Fluent in written and oral English.
