 Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Work closely with plant all departments ensuring environmental compliance of projects and equipment.

• Conduct safety training for new employees and contractors.

• Assist in communicating hazard control information and evaluate effectiveness of the control.

• Assist line and staff management in understanding corporate policies and local laws, regulations and standards.

• Guide and assist plant personnel with critical environmental health issues.

• Review plant incident statistics and make recommendations for correction of problem areas, join the investigations of incidents.

• Keep informed on current developments of safety/environmental laws likely to affect the company.

• Communicate with corporate environmental departments regarding program results and any issues that may arise.

• Assist cost control efforts and participate with manufacturing improvement committees.

• Conduct periodic inspections of plant machinery, equipment, firefighting system and audits of working conditions to ensure conformance to appropriate environment and firefighting standards and regulations.

• Monitor and maintain firefighting system, keep the firefighting operate smoothly.

• Monitor the environment impact factors situation, handle the hazardous wastage, exhaust gas and waste water meet national and local standard.

• Communicate with government on the environment and firefighting issue and within plant team, and submit the report and data

• Optimize the hazardous wastage, exhaust gas and waste water treatment process and the cost 

Education & Experience

• Bachelor or above; major in Environmental, safety engineering or related.

• 3 years’ above working experience in SHE or related area.

• SHE work experience in multinational company or manufacturing environment is in plus.

Required Skills

• Basic SHE knowledge and experience with tools such as risk assessment, JSA, LOTO, etc.

• Proficient in English, both written & spoken (B1)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

• Good problem solving skills

• Good communication skill: Able to speak in front of a group, especially to train people.

Desired Skills

• National certified safety engineer is a plus.

• Experience working on projects, including awareness of MS Project.
