Purpose of the Position:
•    Lead to develop and implement technical solutions from materials technology to achieve the manufacturing performance objectives for the lowest possible costs, advantaged product attributes, superior quality, and consistent, reliable operations.
•    Focus on clean detergent, ink tape, cassette teeth, BOM and other consumable materials to find optimization opportunities, not only cost, capability by also effect to environment and other process.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
•    Lead developing and validation of new detergent development for different clean process.
•    Lead developing and implementing ink tape on decoration process.
•    Lead optimize Cassette teeth materials and establish quality standard and control process.
•    Lead monitoring current manufacturing key process inputs variables from materials aspects, develop replacement solutions.
•    Lead experiments and performance improvement projects to achieve target goal, including quality, cost, capacity, and new capability.
•    Assess risks of cleaning chemical application in engineering, technologies, and manufacturing. Recommend suitable substitutes for industrial application.

Project involved with:
•    Solve day to day manufacturing process problems, provide long-term solution.
•    Lead new line and system installation’s relate material problems, or qualifications.
•    Work with the cross-function team to qualify new material suppliers to ensure its quality can meet our requirements.

Training:
•    Learning & Development is more than just training, provide multiple channels including Instructor-led Training, On-the-job Learning, Reading Assignments and Group.
•    Discussions, Online Training, Coaching, action Learning Project, Self-studying.
•    Technical trainings via internal trainings couching/sharing, outside training and project practices.     
•    Other skills trainings provided as needs.  

Education & Experience  
    Bachelor’s degree and above in area of Chemical /Materials Engineering (polymer background is better) etc. Master’s degree is better.
    Best with ~5 + years working experience.

Required Skills                                                

    Chemical and material background, understand the chemical and physical reaction mechanism, can put it into use.
    Understand the reason why washer key parameters are picked and how it's goanna happen when set them out of range. understand how process output is linked with customer's application.
    Know Process Measure - sampling plan, data collection plan, MSA, CPK analysis, Outlier analysis.
    Literature searching and summary capabilities, know how to get the newest technology
Information, can put forward the advantage and disadvantages.
    Understanding of equipment mechanical operations and control way.
    Presentation and technical writing skills to enable communication within the program team, internal, and external customers.
    Strong communication skill to work with different multi-functions department with different culture.
    Self-starter, passionate about engineering and have a high level of technical curiosity.
    Dedicated, open to new ideas and recognized for your flexibility to change.
 

Desired Skills  
    Expertise with utilizing different material analysis instruments such as FTIR, EDX, TGA, SEM, AFM etc.
    Proficient in English and Mandarin. Good written and oral skills are essential.
    Experience working in glass /ceramic production environment, cleaning room environment.
    Working experience in automotive glass or electronic glass is a plus.
