Plugging Process Engineer

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Work with plant cross-function team, CET Division Engineering team, to provide engineering expertise for Plugging and APT process and support performance improvement. 

Responsibilities include:
•    Support day to day production, set rigorous discipline for process control 
•    Plan, organize and execute major projects to deliver improvement and step change capabilities
•    Apply knowledge of engineering principles and methods to reduce defects/upsets through root cause identification and resolution
•    Drive continual improvement and strive for error-proofing engineering solutions.

Requirements: Education & Experience

•    Bachelor degree or above in engineering (ceramic, materials, or chemical preferred)
•    3+ years of relevant work experience in automotive industry or any respective fields
•    Experience working in multinational companies strongly preferred

Requirements: Required Skills

•    Good command of English in both oral and written 
•    Capable of driving continuous improvement
•    Technical proficiency in process engineering
•    Strong data analytical and visualization skills (JMP/Minitab…)
•    Data driven problem solving and decision making, willingness to deep dive into technical details for complex issues
•    Familiarity with Project Management methodologies, experience leading capital/6sigma project is highly preferred

•    Demonstrated technical expertise in process improvement
•    Familiarity with FEMA & CP
•    Good presentation skills
