Day to Day Responsibilities:

•    Lead experiments and performance improvement projects to achieve target goal, including product quality, yield, uptime, lowest cost and capacity.
•    Uses rigorous processes and technical knowledge to build detailed technical understanding for key process steps.
•    Uses simple statistical tools and Designed Experiments (DOE) in process problem solving and process improvement; Uses more sophisticated statistical tools and DOE techniques in problem solving and process/product improvement.
•    Executes cost reduction and improvement (DMAIC) projects in line with business objectives.
•    Trouble shoots material, process and equipment issues, identifies root cause and implements corrective action.
•    Work with equipment/control engineers to optimize process/equipment interactions. Work with related process areas to identify and optimize process interactions.

Education & Experience

•    Bachelor’s degree and above in area of 机械/材料工程/磨削Engineering etc.
•    5+ years working experience for BS, or 3+ years for master’s degree or above.
•    With work experience in CNC machine operation for machining (metal, ceramic, glass, etc.).

Required Skills

•    Logic thinking and communication.
•    Desire to fundamental understanding.
•    Demonstrated ability to work with other engineers and operations leads to solve problems
•    Strong analytical skills, including in Microsoft Excel, but also with statistical software.  Ability to present analysis including in PowerPoint.
•    Conviction and passion for safety, cleanliness, process control and process discipline

Desired Skills

•    Experience working in metal/glass CNC machining.
•    Project management experience.
•    Understanding of equipment mechanical operations and control.
•    Understanding of DMAIC, Lean and Six-Sigma methods and tools.
•    Working experience in automotive glass or electronic glass is a plus.

•    Strong ownership of achieving plant goal.
•    Sense of urgency and creativity to handle project issues and adapt plan to meet objectives.
