Product Quality Engineer

The Product Quality Engineer is responsible for new product introduction process quality own area, overall manage COQ and PQA

1. Manage WWESS/ICP/NPR approval
2. Develop & deploy the CHCL Internal Quality Control system(Lean FMEA and own CP)
• Examples include: defect definitions, limit samples, IMS, warehouse audits, quality inspections.
3. Train quality inspectors
4. Verify that products meet all requirements at various stages of manufacturing. 
5. Document quality control supporting SOPs:

• Product release criteria and procedures
• Product testing, inspection, and metrology for in-process, final product, and post-production audits.
• Determine & document sampling plans 
• Define traceability requirements
• Administer statistical process control and response plans when out of control conditions occur
• Manage product recovery or product recall activities when necessary
• Control of non-conforming material

6. Support data management
• CHCL transparency

• PPAP package

7. COQ reduction and PQA capability improvement

• BS or MS in an engineering discipline or statistical (ceramic, materials, or chemical preferred)
• Above 3 years’ experience in manufacturing, engineering or development
• Effective document writing
• Solid communication skills
• Influencing skills
• Building effective teams, facilitation & coaching skills
