QA/QC Engineer II

Role Purpose

The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for leading daily quality control activities, with primary focus on product visual quality, quality technician supervision, and customer quality issue management. This role supports stable product quality performance, effective inspection execution, and timely response to quality issues as well as continuously improving quality architecture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead product visual quality management and improve visual inspection effectiveness.
2. Supervise QC technicians/inspectors and ensure consistent execution of inspection standards.
3. Lead customer quality issue management, including containment, 8D investigation, and corrective action follow-up.
4. Manage nonconforming materials, maintain traceability, and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
5. Lead error-proofing verification and improve visual inspection effectiveness.
6. Support new product launches by ensuring QC readiness and inspection support.
7. Ensure inspection records and quality documentation are accurate and complete.
8. Monitor product quality performance, identify trends, and drive improvement actions.
9. Promote a strong quality culture and enhance quality awareness and process control effectiveness.

Experiences/Education - Required

• BS or MS in an engineering discipline or statistical (ceramic, materials, or chemical preferred)
• Above 3 years’ experience in manufacturing, engineering or development
• Effective document writing
• Solid communication skills
