Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Overall lead product quality architecture deployment and improvement, including quality document update, define appropriate process control tool and methodology, process quality improvement and risk assessment.   
  • Lead and coordinate resource for internal quality issue improvement and ensure close loop improvement
  • Lead and coordinate resource for non-conformity handling
  • Take part in or lead wide quality improvement project
  • Co-work with QA and cross function for new product and line qualification
  • Co-work with engineering team for process inspection system upgrade and qualification
  • Be involved for process change management and quality risk assessment            
  • Co-work with for quality best practice sharing and migration
  • Co-work with QA for customer quality feedback investigation
  • Co-work with QC team for QA gauge/inspection equipment readiness and maintenance
  •  

Education & Experience

  • B.S or above degree in Engineering relative major.
  • At least 6 years work experience in QA function or Process.
  • Experience in Optoelectronics industry would be a plus.

Experiences/Education - Desired

  • Summer Intern experience/progressive experience within the field of quality
  • Process engineering experience
  • Project Team Leadership
  • Shift supervisory experience

Required Skills

  • Good knowledge in Statistic Tools, SPC, Quality relative tools.
  • Logical thinking and data oriented.
  • Problem solving and decision skill.
  • Good English comprehension in listening, speaking, writing and reading.

Desired Skills

  • Excellent in data analysis/ Statistical using skill are preferred.
  • 6 sigma black belt

Soft Skills

  • Good personality and negotiation skill.  
  • Aggressive and willing to take challenge and work hard and smart.
  • Project Management.
