Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Major Responsibilities / Tasks

12. To have clear understanding of the city power, the emergency power, and the lightning systems related within the plant.
13. To review and provide SOP, troubleshooting guides, maintenance procedures, test procedure for plant’s power electrical equipment management.
14. To conduct gaps analysis of plant’s power electrical system vs. Division power design standards.
15. To manage maintenance plan in CMMS and execute activities (PM, PdM, RM, Test) per plan with discipline effectively.
16. To lead the improvement activities based on governing codes, Division design standards.
17. To ensure drawings of power electrical system are archived properly within the plant.
18. To ensure the inclusion of new designs into rebuild requests.
19. To appropriate and manage necessary contractor controls resources to support plant controls objectives.
20. To lead training/drill of the normal response and emergency response of power electrical activities.
21. To assist in the development of plant’s training materials.
22. To lead internal auditing activities related to plant Facility power systems within the Plant regularly.

2. Job Specifications – Qualifications

12. Education level required (degree and discipline)

Engineer – electrical bachelor’s degree and/or above.

12. Certification level required; Local electrical license is a plus

12. Experience

-  Previous international assignment

-  2~5 Years working with field devices, HMI, and Controls Platforms, SCADA, i-Fix

12. Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Leadership)

Knowledge (Knowledge of KT, Statistics, iDMAiC, LEAN, etc ): 

Skills (Computer skill, project management skill…..etc.) 

-  Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)

-  CMMS, JSA, PPA, AAR and FMEA.

-  PLC Programming

-  Data analysis of PM, PdM and PI data from Power SCADA, i-Fix.

-  Strong Team Working skills including working well with other disciplines (process, mechanical engineering) and providing/receiving direction

-  Adequate communication skills (both written and oral).

-  Ability to plan upfront, communicate issues, and execute solutions quickly and efficiently.

Ability (Ability to advance innovation, flexibility, detail oriented……etc.)
