我们的光通信事业部日前已经从光纤和电缆、硬件与设备制造商发展成为了在更加广泛的通信领域提供行业领先光学解决方案的综合服务供应商。这一领域共分为两种主要的产品分组 – 即载波网络和企业网络。载波网络产品分组主要包括适用于以光学为基础之通信基础设施的产品和解决方案，可用于视频、数据和语音通信等服务。企业网络产品分组则主要包括销售给公司、政府和个人自用并且以光学为基础的通信网络。

Roles and responsibilities

• Logistics execution

• Book, confirm, and schedule shipments with Corning logistics providers.
• Perform daily data entry of milestones and updates for all global ocean and air shipments.
• Provide track-and-trace support and escalation support across all transportation modes, including ocean, air, truck, parcel, and rail.
• Manage the daily Hot List for critical shipments and communicate updates to key stakeholders.
• Enter and maintain key transportation transactional data in the ERP system (e.g., transit times and order closeouts).
• Ensure logistics procedures are followed throughout the shipment process.
• Participate in and/or lead daily, weekly, and monthly operational review meetings.
• Submit air freight approval requests (PTAs).

• Exception management

• Drive Routing Guide compliance through proactive engagement and audits.
• Obtain and manage carrier spot quotes as needed.
• Manage weekly and monthly freight payment exceptions.

• Ad hoc responsibilities

• Take ownership of site-specific or division-specific logistics activities (e.g., reel returns).
• Support Trade Compliance processes, such as documentation handover.
• Deliver site-specific logistics training.

Education & experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 3–8 years of logistics experience preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders across functions, countries, and cultures.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
