Purpose of Position:
Plant Data Specialist
Data specialist ensures the accuracy and consistency of data across supply chain systems. They enforce data governance policies and maintain data quality from various data sources. Additionally, the data specialist will collaborate with plant functional areas and partners to ensure data is shared effectively, ultimately helping the plant optimize operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Be aware of SAP data standards and enforce data governance at plant level and validate that standardized date is entered into SAP, MDG, and additional systems.
• Implement tools and dashboards to measure and communicate data quality to personnel.
• Collaborate with Division DMO and applicable departments that use master data to identify challenges and aid in the development of solutions and approaches to solve data or process inefficiencies.
• Create and augment new materials and related master data.
• Maintain master data intake process in accordance with business needs including the support required changes to data structure requirements.
• Train plant personnel on data management practices and SAP/MDG where necessary.
Desired Competencies (knowledge, skills and behaviors):
• Experience with SAP MDG standards, quality, process flow, and data governance.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to thorough documentation and knowledge-sharing targeting long-term efficiency for the business.
• Track record with data processing & database management.
Experience/Education:
• 2 or 4-year degree in supply chain management, engineering, STEM, or related field
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Works well independently to achieve broader team objectives.
• Self-motivated, positive attitude and willingness to help other team members.

The range for this position is $74,359.00 - $102,244.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
