Role Purpose

The Inventory Coordinator will support inventory accuracy and inventory-related processes within a manufacturing plant environment. This role is responsible for coordinating inventory control activities, monitoring inventory transactions, investigating discrepancies, and partnering with operations, warehouse, and supply chain teams to improve inventory accuracy. This position should have prior experience with inventory processes in a manufacturing setting and a desire to grow within Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support inventory control activities and help maintain accurate inventory records within the plant.
  • Monitor inventory transactions and identify discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
  • Coordinate with operations, warehouse, and supply chain teams to resolve inventory issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist with inventory audits, reconciliations, and cycle count processes.
  • Review inventory variances and help determine root causes and corrective actions.
  • Maintain and update inventory data in ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Support material movement accuracy by ensuring transactions are completed correctly and on time.
  • Prepare inventory reports and communicate findings, trends, and concerns to leadership as needed.
  • Help ensure compliance with established inventory procedures and internal controls.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve inventory processes and support operational efficiency.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating inventory-related activities to minimize disruption to production and warehouse operations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management and material flow.
  • Help ensure inventory practices align with plant safety, quality, and operational standards.

Hours

  • Standard Hours (Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm)
  • Flexible hours may be required to support weekends/evenings operations requirements 

Required Skills

  • Working knowledge of inventory control processes and inventory reconciliation
  • Experience supporting inventory counts, audits, or cycle count activities
  • Experience with ERP systems or inventory management software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
  • Ability to analyze inventory data and support corrective actions
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis and process improvement
  • Understanding of material flow and transaction accuracy within plant operations
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to improve processes

The range for this position is $63,000.00 - $86,625.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
