Purpose of the Position: Define and lead the implementation of process control systems (SOP's, SOS's) throughout the facility for critical infrastructure equipment. Provide project leadership for maintenance improvement projects. Planning and scheduling of customer special requests outside of daily requirements. 

 

Required Education, Experience and Skillset

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with an electrical or mechanical focus 
  • 6+ years of manufacturing and/or facilities experience 
  • Leadership skills to both communicate expectations and hold individuals accountable.  
  • Ability to supervise and lead direct and indirect employees.  
  • Able to collaborate across organizational boundaries and integrate solutions.  
  • Results oriented and high commitment.  
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.  
  • Project management skills.  
  • Creative and innovative problem-solving skills.  
  • Can thoroughly carry assignments to completion.  
  • Basic skills for data collection and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the implementation of process control systems (SOP's, SOS's) throughout the facility for critical infrastructure equipment.
  • Provide project leadership for production and facility improvement projects.
  • Provide project leadership for Performance Excellence (PEx) improvement projects.
  • Lead and manage day to day scheduling and planning.
  • Manage monthly safety department meetings for the Maintenance Department.
  • Provide 2nd level troubleshooting and can provide sound direction.
  • Interact with multiple departments, organizations, and personnel levels to meet customer needs.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and communicate activity to ensure the least amount of disruption to production and needs of customers.
  • Become familiar with the process and facility systems, such as HVAC, Electric, Piping, etc., and engage/utilize system owners when needed.
  • Facilitate/lead monthly communication meetings with the Maintenance Department.
  • Support department budgets, become familiar with PeopleSoft, ability to enter Pos.
  • Assess and recommend tooling needs, support recycling efforts.
  • Support effective and efficient utilization of resources – personnel and equipment.
  • Interact and participate in various other projects and events as needed.
  • Work closely with Facility Department Head, providing back up as necessary.
  • Provide cost estimates.
  • Attend daily department meetings.

 

Work Hours

  • Standard Hours (Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm)  
  • Flexible hours may be required to support weekend/evenings operations requirements

The range for this position is  $123,858.00   -  $170,305.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
