Role Purpose

The Equipment Scheduler ensures reliable and efficient manufacturing operations by coordinating daily equipment priorities, maintenance activities, and production needs. This role works closely with upstream planning and supply teams to effectively and accurately forecast product and equipment requirements based on demand. The Equipment Scheduler maximizes equipment uptime, supports process discipline, and drives operational improvements through effective scheduling, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan production ramps and schedules for planned equipment outages.
  • Monitor equipment status and provide daily operational priorities for the operations team.
  • Maximize equipment uptime through coordination of planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
  • Track and ensure Job Change Effectiveness across assigned areas.
  • Maintain strong process discipline, including SOS and SOP adherence across the plant.
  • Ensure compliance with quality specifications, limit samples, and established work rules.
  • Provide key information during Pre‑Run and Post‑Run Reviews with line technicians, supervisors, and engineers.
  • Support engineering activities focused on manufacturing improvements and cost reduction.
  • Provide production support for throughput or safety issues that may impact output.
  • Manage multiple projects using sound engineering and project management principles.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to support new product development activities.

Work Hours

  • Standard Hours (Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm)  
  • Flexible hours may be required to support weekends/evenings operations requirements  

Education & Experience

  • 2‑year technical degree required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in manufacturing, operations, production support, or equipment coordination

The range for this position is $58,934.00 - $81,034.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
