Purpose of the Position:
The primary role of the Statistician will be to collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive effective decision-making processes and optimize operational performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of statistical theories and data analysis methodologies, with a knack for interpreting complex data sets and providing clear and concise reports to various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze statistical data related to the manufacturing process.
- Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize efficiency and data quality.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Use statistical techniques to predict, understand, and improve production performance.
- Collaborate with different teams to establish operational metrics.
- Design, develop, and deliver timely and actionable statistical reports.
- Provide statistical advice and support to the management team in decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant statistical standards and regulations.
- Develop statistical models to optimize resource allocation and production processes.
- Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and support well designed experiments (DOE) that will provide meaningful statistically valid results.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Statistician, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- 5+ yrs experience in manufacturing or related using statistical tools and methods.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, or similar.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in data analysis and report writing.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a simple, understandable manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with ISO, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing principles, or other statistical quality process is a plus.
- High level of precision and attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of data and analysis.
Desired Skills:
- Strong data analysis and statistical skills to analyze performance data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

The range for this position is $88,598.00 - $121,822.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
