Purpose of the Position:
The Wastewater Technician – Material Handling is a critical role contributing to the seamless operations of a large-scale manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of plants wastewater treatment systems. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining uninterrupted services that are critical to sustaining production and achieving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate telehandler to load, unload, move, and stage products and materials.

Inspect forklifts daily to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.

Maintain accurate inventory records, including documenting material movement and completing required logs.

Follow safety protocols, including proper load handling, speed limits, and hazard awareness.

Assist with general duties, such as organizing, packaging, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Perform basic equipment maintenance, such as refueling, charging batteries, or cleaning machinery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma or Equivalent
-
Experience operating forklifts or other industrial vehicles.
-
Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
-
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
-
Attention to detail and strong situational awareness.

Ability to work a 2-3-2 pitman schedule, overtime, and holidays as needed to support production
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with telehandler forklift

Previous work in manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environments.

The range for this position is $22.00 hourly rate - $23.83 hourly rate. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
