Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

 

Role Purpose

 

The Global Supply Chain Process Analyst is responsible for identifying, leading, and implementing initiatives that support OFC global supply chain objectives, with a strong emphasis on process standardization, digitization, and continuous improvement. This role partners closely with Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to map processes, improve data visibility, and deliver scalable, sustainable solutions. Key accountabilities include KPI reporting, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Analyze, document, and maintain end‑to‑end supply chain process maps while driving global standardization and continuous improvement.
  • Promote SAP best practices and manage data governance across supply chain systems and tools (e.g., SAP, FIS, FIOS).
  • Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to develop new supply chain capabilities and balance short‑term fixes with long‑term, sustainable improvements.
  • Build and deliver supply chain reports, dashboards, and advanced analytics to provide real‑time visibility and a single source of truth.
  • Develop end‑to‑end tools supporting forecasting, demand planning, sourcing, order management, and commit processes across manufacturing and suppliers.

 

Required Experience & Education:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in manufacturing and/or supply chain planning
  • Experience with supply chain principles, including demand, supply, capacity, and inventory management
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferabley SAP ECC and APO
  • Familiarity with MES systems, preferably Camstar

The range for this position is $88,381.00 - $121,524.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
