As a leading developer, manufacturer, and global supplier of scientific laboratory products for 100 years, Corning’s Life Sciences segment collaborates with researchers seeking new approaches to increase efficiencies, reduce costs and compress timelines in the drug discovery process. Using unique expertise in the fields of materials science, surface science, optics, biochemistry and biology, the segment provides innovative solutions that improve productivity and enable breakthrough discoveries.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth and compliant transitions for all employees.
  • Maintain and update employee files and HR system data to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely recordkeeping.
  • Process daily attendance, identify and resolve anomalies, and assist the payroll team with attendance-related matters.
  • Assist with the administration and ongoing maintenance of employee annuities and commercial insurance; respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding benefits and insurance.
  • Organize and distribute employee benefits such as holiday benefits, birthday benefits, annual health checks, and other welfare initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate Direct Labor recruitment processes in partnership with external vendors, including resume screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding support.
  • Assist with organizing and coordinating various training activities, including training notifications, logistics, and participant attendance management.
  • Manage training records and documentation, ensuring accurate filing, timely updates, and proper archiving for future reference.
  • Track and report employee training completion rates, proactively follow up to ensure compliance with required training and support continuous learning initiatives.
  • Coordinate employee communication meetings, follow up on employee feedback, and ensure open and effective communication channels within the organization.
  • Complete other HR-related tasks assigned by supervisors, and actively participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed.

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Administration, or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of relevant HR experience.

Desired                                                        

  • Experience in manufacturing or large enterprises is preferred.
  • Experience in process optimization, digital transformation, system implementation is preferred.
