 - Purpose of the Position Development and execution of plant automation strategy to deploy innovation & new technology resulting in a superior product in terms of high quality & low cost. Drive equipment fundamental understanding to work with cross-function team on solving equipment problems by engineering solution. Manage the plant's equipment to achieve manufacture performance excellence. Supports or leads equipment improvement activities, new product/equipment introductions and cost reduction projects. Responsible for supervising the daily operations of tooling manage. Required to perform testing, analyze data, provide equipment disposition and troubleshooting when necessary. Provide training and maintain adequate records for the department and new equipment transfer, buy off and validation procedures as necessary to meet plant’s system regulations" - Day to Day Responsibilities " • Implement effective performance monitoring and tracking system. • Use PEx tools to continuously improve the process to achieve manufacture performance excellence. • Develop and implement projects to support cost reduction, OEE and other manufacture objectives. • Provides day-to-day problem-solving support to production and trains new equipment/automation operation and processes with trouble shooting guideline • Trouble shoots related equipment issues, identifies root cause and implements corrective action. • Assures safety of operators and equipment and Complies with safety and environmental regulations. • Develop new automation system/equipment specification, troubleshooting checklist and maintenance plan. Create and define the spare parts list. • Provide high level technical support and engage vendor for repair when necessary. • Monitor and track the equipment performance. Continuously improve equipment reliability and efficiency to achieve manufacture performance excellence. • Coordinate with division engineer on equipment related technology synchronization/transfer activities. " - Project involved with "• Leads and manages cross-functional and matrix teams. • Defines, prioritizes and executes an overall project plan. • Defines skill sets and resources needed to accomplish objectives. • Defines and monitors the budget. • Identifies risks and develops mitigation plans. • Communicates results, progress to plan, and any key issues to leaders, business unit leadership, and team members. • May use engineering and manufacturing feedback to ensure a scalable manufacture in process. • Work together with vendor to fix automation hot issue" - Reporting Structure - Direct reports - Regular shift Yes - Education and Experience " Bachelor Degree or above of Manufacturing Engineering / Mechanical Engineering  At least 10 years relevant equipment management experience in plastic and automation field." - Required Skills "Required Skills  Good Solid works, CAD, mechanical design and equipment design skills  Good electrical and PLC program knowledge  Good automation project management skills  Excellent equipment and part debug skill  Good DMAIC and/or MEE 、KT analysis knowledge  Familiar with machine safety standards  Automation validation knowledge with ISO13485  Team player, self-motivated, self-managed, enthusiastic Desired Skills  Understand injection molding and 2nd operation process.  M.S. or equivalent technical degree. Business understanding & training highly recommended.  Variety of research, development, engineering, operational, and / or plant experiences.  Project Team focused on single or multiple technical discipline of increased complexity.  External recognition such as Green / Yellow / Black Belt, Lean, PMI, Professional Engineering or Committee member of a Technical society.
