The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies.  Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes.  IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Work with program manager to deal with Camstar project activities.
• Work with business process team to identify and confirm user requirement details.
• Work with engineering control team to ensure AUTO capability and traceability.
• Lead the team (including vendors) to fulfil system design, development, testing and deployment to AGS, AO divisions.
• Work with IT receiving team and other service lines to establish Camstar MES solutions including start-up support and knowledge transfer.
• Change management and project execution apply for project management and process compliance.

Education & Experience 

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or above in an IT related field 
•  

Experience

• Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems, manufacturing concepts and system integration.
• 8 years above of working experience in support manufacturing execution system.
• 8 years above of software development and system analysis experience preferred.
• 3 years above of people management experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success at leadership and management skills including coaching, mentoring, budgeting, quality, schedule controls.
• Siemens Camstar experience is plus.

Professionalism                                                

• Knowledge of software development tools and methodology.
• Strong domain knowledge in manufacturing execution system.
• Familiar with project management and application life cycle methodology.

Soft Skills                                                

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.
• Ability to continuously prioritize and multitask efficiently, and be accountable to achieve goals with expectations.
• Ability to interact with other functions and senior management.
• Able to manage and encourage team to work cohesively with good productivity.
