The purpose of this position: provide inspection support for quality, manufacturing, and engineering

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform optical and mechanical inspection Cleaning of optical components for processing/shipment
• May provide and coordinate measuring machine inspection Supply manufacturing support to expedite workflow through departments
• Preparation of data package for shipment of product Train others as needed
• Support MRB activities Comply with ISO 9002 procedures

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma and GED
• One to three years in optical mechanical inspection with Coordinate Measuring Machine experience desired
• Experience in handling precision components

Requirements:

• Basic blueprint reading and comprehension
• Computer fluency to include Windows 95, Office 95 and basic DOS
• Standard drawing practices, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing desired

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to alcohol and acetone used for cleaning
• Occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs
