Scope of Role:

  • Involves determination of manufacturability of products and improved effectiveness and cost of production processes through determinations regarding: Methods, equipment, layout, workflow, time standards, capacity utilization, process/equipment improvements, and process control systems.
  • May involve application of knowledge and methods for understanding physical phenomena to achieve specified characteristics and criteria for products and processes.
  • Involves organizational health and safety management systems, procedures, and programs.
  • Encompasses scientific and technological principles involved in the design, manufacturability, and operation of products, equipment, and systems in an industrial environment.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining methods, operation sequence and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
  • Collaborate with engineering in coordinating the release of new products.
  • Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
  • As required, maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
  • Follows standard practices and procedure in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.


Education & Experience:

  • We require a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Math or Physics.
  • We are seeking 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous MRP experience would be beneficial.
