Overview:

Assist the Plant Engineering Department with prescribed duties that maintain and improve upon their methods following established ISO Engineering Processes. Perform Updates and documentation of new processes that improve plant engineering efficiencies. Assist plant engineers with creation and updates of required product documentation. Assist plant engineering with creation of routine jobs in Epicor. Maintain a robust stamp package review process to ensure Keene’s compliance with new orders. 

 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Performs technical duties and activities within prescribed time frames
  • Participates in project to improve overall process and technical efficiency
  • Creates, updates, and trains new personnel to standard operating procedures
  • Creates FAI documents
  • Creates new RMA jobs for assembly
  • Assists plant engineers by creating standard rework jobs for identified product
  • Initiates and drives stamp package review process on all new orders that utilize them
  • Part master administrator for plant engineering group
  • Maintains and ensures confidentiality of information and materials
  • Takes initiative to identify and propose remedies to problems
  • Has the ability to learn, understand, and troubleshoot ERP and other supportive business software
  • Interacts with others at same level and one level above, to ensure continuity and efficiency
  • Maintain off hours reporting
  • Assist with Planview Capital data input

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience with ERP Systems
  • 1-3 years of work-related experience
  • Successful track record of performance in previous work experiences
  • Highly detail oriented, organized, and professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective at time management and ability to multi-task 

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Optical Manufacturing Experience

The range for this position is  $65,752.00   -  $90,409.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
