Role Purpose:
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of our products and manufacturing processes. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to investigate quality issues, implement corrective actions, support new product introductions and process changes, and drive continuous improvement across the organization. The ideal candidate brings experience in a manufacturing environment, a strong understanding of quality systems and tools, and a passion for using data to improve product performance, reduce defects, and strengthen overall process capability.
What You’ll Do:
- Support product and process quality across manufacturing operations
- Investigate nonconformances, customer complaints, returns, and other quality issues to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Develop, update, and maintain quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, inspection plans, control plans, and specifications
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, operations, and other teams to improve processes, reduce defects and scrap, and enhance product quality
- Support new product introductions, process changes, qualifications, and validation activities from a quality perspective
- Analyze quality data and key performance indicators to identify trends, monitor performance, and recommend improvements
- Apply quality engineering and statistical tools such as SPC, MSA, APQP/PPAP, sampling plans, process capability analysis, and root cause analysis
- Provide training and guidance on quality procedures, problem-solving methods, and quality expectations
- Support supplier and customer quality activities, including documentation, issue resolution, and communication
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing variation, improving yield, and lowering cost of poor quality
- Serve as continuous improvement site champion, coaching Green Belts, training, and facilitating improvement tools and methodologies
- Perform other related duties as needed
Required Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Quality, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, process engineering, or a related technical role
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of quality systems and standards such as ISO 9001 or other regulated quality systems
- Experience with root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, MSA, sampling plans, and statistical analysis
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound, data-driven decisions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a regulated or highly technical manufacturing environment
- Six Sigma Green Belt or similar continuous improvement training
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer or similar certification
- Experience with JMP, Minitab, ERP/QMS systems, Power BI, or other data visualization tools

The range for this position is $80,011.00 - $110,016.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
