Scope of Position:

Intern will work as part of the Division Engineering Department reporting the Global Surfaces and Chemistry Engineering manager. You will work on solo and team projects which can range from new materials, chemical processes, validations, experimentation/problem analysis, equipment drawings, new equipment validation, new product development etc.

 

Travel Requirements:

  • Negligible.

 

Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:

  • Standard business hours; Monday – Friday.

 

Required Education:

  • Currently enrolled in a MS/BS degree program in Engineering, Materials, or Chemistry.
  • At least one semester of core engineering course work completed.
  • Prefer students that will be a Junior or further.
  • GPA > 3.0

 

Required Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

 

Soft Skills:

  • Results oriented with a high commitment level.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks.
  • Motivated and a self-starter with independent learning style.
  • Effective communication & presentation skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work on diverse project team.
  • Able to build new business relationships with the team.
  • Positive, open and engaging and can be an effective member of a dynamic team.
  • Dedicated and open to new ideas.
