As a leading developer, manufacturer, and global supplier of scientific laboratory products for 100 years, Corning’s Life Sciences segment collaborates with researchers seeking new approaches to increase efficiencies, reduce costs and compress timelines in the drug discovery process. Scope of Position
The North America OEM Leader, Business Partnerships will be responsible for commercial and business development activities, strategy development, and relationship management for the Corning Life Sciences OEM business within the North America region (United States and Canada). In this role, you will report directly to the Global OEM Leader, Business Partnerships and will be responsible for driving significant growth by creating and managing partnerships to supply technologies and products for OEM activity in diagnostic, life science tools, and therapeutic customers within North America. This leader will partner closely with the North America Business Operations teams, supply chain, quality, etc., to drive effective execution and growth within the North America Life Sciences OEM business.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead and manage business development activities focused on OEM within North America to enable the team to exceed our revenue and margin goals in the OEM space.
- Develop and implement those go-to-market strategies to align with the Business Operations teams.
- Develop and drive strategic plans for key customers and market segments to ensure long term growth and profitability.
- Negotiate multi-year, multi-million-dollar supply agreements and OEM contract with critical business partners in the therapeutic, life science tool, diagnostic, and applied market segments.
- Implement and adhere to commercial practices across the business, including but not limited to: CRM, Training, Forecasting, Planning, and Sales Process.
- Facilitate complex deals between projects, clients, and internal support organizations while acting as an internal customer champion to support execution.
- Contribute to the yearly budget plan for the NA OEM business and align those targets with each of the business teams within CLS.
- Represent the OEM team within relevant leadership discussions and provide updates to the Global OEM Leader.
- Flexibility for supporting a NA business: Travel >50% of time.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a biological science or business domain required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years or significant, demonstrated commercial experience in the life sciences, bioproduction or biotechnology sectors.
- 7+ years of technical and commercial experience in the life sciences and bioprocessing industries, with a deep and in-depth understanding of the market landscape, technologies, and sales cycles.
- Previous OEM or Commercial Supply market knowledge, deal modeling, etc. is required.

The range for this position is $110,168.00 - $151,481.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
