Purpose of Position:

This position is responsible for overall Product Lifecycle Management, Customer Engagement and Roadmap planning for Wireless RAN products.  The Wireless Product Line Manager will support the creation and execution of the RAN roadmap for our customers. The successful candidate will have demonstrated deep customer engagement to help drive product roadmap decisions, data-driven product tradeoff analyses and a combination of technical and business curiosity.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science or an Engineering degree or equivalent of 7 – 10 years of relevant professional experience

• 2-3 years of experience in Product Management

• Experience driving development and release management process of software for wireless products

• Background in Wireless, Mobility, Cellular, Wi-Fi products and technologies

• Excellent ability to effectively communicate various levels in the organization through all available mediums (verbal, listening, writing, presenting)

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Master of Business Administration degree (MBA)

• Experience and knowledge of deploying Small Cells and/or Distributed Antenna Systems

• A demonstrated ability to learn new products and/or technologies in a dynamic fast paced environment

• Deep understanding of Cellular technologies and trends, and carrier network architectures used today to deliver data/voice/video services

• Understanding and experience with cloud-based technologies and products including Kubernetes, virtualization, cloud native applications

• Understanding and experience defining, delivering, and managing Software-as-a-service offerings

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Support creation of product strategy, roadmap, and features & product business planning activities including market/technology trends, market sizing, key customers to win, competitive analysis, revenue, product positioning and pricing

• Manage the lifecycle of current and future products through process discipline, customer engagement and clear data analysis

• Prioritize engineering work and balance the requirements of customers and stakeholders

• Engage and establish relationships with Tier-1 customers and effectively communicate product plans

• Develop product value proposition in collaboration with product marketing

• Develop and implement pricing and monetization strategies

• Analyze competitor products and develop strong positioning for Corning’s products

• Manage relationships and communicate effectively with external and internal customers

• Partner with marketing, sales, engineering, and design teams to bring the product vision to life, drive market adoption and accelerate growth of our products

The range for this position is  $200,874.00   -  $276,203.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
