Role Purpose

Ensure the correct operation of the warehouse through the supervision, coordination and control of the activities of reception, storage, assortment and shipment of materials and finished product, guaranteeing compliance with service levels, inventory accuracy, personnel safety and adherence to the procedures, policies and systems established by the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operation 
• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of receiving, arranging, assorting, packing, and shipping materials. • Ensure compliance with national, export, and intercompany shipment programs.
• Coordinate, authorize and follow up on cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
• Validate that incoming and outgoing material movements are correctly recorded in the corresponding systems.  • Guarantee the order, cleanliness and correct use of warehouse spaces.
• Analyze variances from inventory to determine root cause. 

Inventory Control
• Coordinate, authorize and follow up on cycle counts and inventory adjustments. 
• Ensure the accuracy of the physical inventory against the system. 
• Analyze and report differences in inventory, damaged, obsolete, resale, or returned materials.
• Ensure the correct identification, labelling and traceability of the material. 

Personnel Management
• Assign activities, shifts, and priorities to warehouse staff.
• Train and develop operational personnel, including induction to new entrants.
• Track team performance, discipline, attendance, and compliance.
• Promote a safe, orderly, and results-oriented work environment.

Safety, Health and Compliance
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Health and Environment (EHS) regulations.
• Supervise the correct use of personal protective equipment and forklifts.
• Report and follow up on incidents and near misses.
• Maintain safe conditions in warehouse racks, aisles, ramps, lighting, and equipment.

Indicators and Continuous Improvement
•  Track key indicators in the area (service level, on-time deliveries, inventory accuracy, productivity).
• Prepare and present operational and performance reports.
• Participate in and lead continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
• Propose improvements in layout, material flow, systems and working methods. 

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelors Degree in related field
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish)
  • 2 years experience (desirable) managing and supervising warehouses.
