For our location in Mszczonow, Poland, we are currently looking for a

 

Junior IMS Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:

  • First level responsibility within the framework of IT technical support for production systems and other related equipment in the factory (support for teams of engineers, technicians, and production employees).
  • Responsibility for installation, repair and preventive maintenance of desktops and related systems.
  • Perform all installations, updates, and backups of S/W and H/W applications.
  • Supporting process and product optimization/improvement activities.
  • Participation in projects, management of activities aimed at reducing costs and participation in activities related to the expansion of production capacity.
  • Solving current problems as part of position responsibility (support as part of 24/7 on-call duties).

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position in a production company.
  • Specialized education (computer science, electrical engineering, or electronics).
  • Knowledge of Windows PC support for production hardware.
  • Computer programming skills – Visual Basic 6, VB.Net, iFIX/SCADA (or any industrial Automation system).
  • Ability to read diagrams.
  • Ability to recognize and correct common computer hardware faults.
  • Ability to plan, predict, diagnose technical problems.
  • Knowledge of English enabling free communication.
