New Business Development Manager


Working within the UK team to develop new business and manage existing business within the UK.





  • Leading direct sales engagements with UK Tier 2/3 alternative network fibre broadband service providers.
  • Leading our indirect sales through close cooperation and support of our UK channel partners, distributors and value-added resellers. 
  • Qualifying and selling to new accounts, driving additional sales from existing customer accounts. 
  • Explaining complex value propositions to drive sales of fibre optic cabling and connectivity solutions.
  • Engaging multiple stakeholders and developing deep relationships in each set account, solution selling to multiple decision makers.      
  • Strong internal collaboration with supporting business functions, sales engineering, product line managers, contracts teams and delivery managers.
  • Developing detailed sales plans, accurate sales forecasting, internal reporting, updating salesforce CRM systems.        
  • Attending and presenting at trade shows, exhibitions.






  • Strong technical and commercial acumen with a growth mindset, adept at long term relationship building
  • Understanding of the telecommunication network market, architectures and trends
  • Competent in using MEDDPICC, Miller Heiman or similar value selling methodologies.
  • Resilience and determination, accustomed to long term sales cycles.    
  • Track record of winning and closing sales, prior sales experience to UK or international telecommunication service providers – mobile or fixed line.
  • Negotiation skills gained through closing of multi-year contracts.
  • Confident at selling to senior business leaders, presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Analytical and evaluation skills.
