New Business Development Manager
Working within the UK team to develop new business and manage existing business within the UK.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leading direct sales engagements with UK Tier 2/3 alternative network fibre broadband service providers.
- Leading our indirect sales through close cooperation and support of our UK channel partners, distributors and value-added resellers.
- Qualifying and selling to new accounts, driving additional sales from existing customer accounts.
- Explaining complex value propositions to drive sales of fibre optic cabling and connectivity solutions.
- Engaging multiple stakeholders and developing deep relationships in each set account, solution selling to multiple decision makers.
- Strong internal collaboration with supporting business functions, sales engineering, product line managers, contracts teams and delivery managers.
- Developing detailed sales plans, accurate sales forecasting, internal reporting, updating salesforce CRM systems.
- Attending and presenting at trade shows, exhibitions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong technical and commercial acumen with a growth mindset, adept at long term relationship building
- Understanding of the telecommunication network market, architectures and trends
- Competent in using MEDDPICC, Miller Heiman or similar value selling methodologies.
- Resilience and determination, accustomed to long term sales cycles.
- Track record of winning and closing sales, prior sales experience to UK or international telecommunication service providers – mobile or fixed line.
- Negotiation skills gained through closing of multi-year contracts.
- Confident at selling to senior business leaders, presentation and public speaking skills.
- Analytical and evaluation skills.
