Role Purpose

Corning's Cables Division is building the people side of its digital transformation — and this role is central to that effort. As the Change & Adoption Lead, you will establish the division's organizational change management (OCM) practice, develop and deliver digital training programs, and define the digital skills architecture for engineers, supervisors, and managers across our manufacturing sites. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Transformation, you'll partner with HR, Lean teams, and functional leadership to drive measurable digital adoption at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead organizational change management for digital transformation initiatives, applying industry-standard frameworks (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR) across the full project lifecycle — from planning and execution through measurement
  • Design, develop, and deliver digital training programs for salaried roles, including curriculum design, classroom and virtual delivery, and adoption follow-through
  • Build and maintain a digital skills matrix by role and maturity tier; partner with HR to embed digital skills requirements into hiring profiles, job descriptions, and development plans
  • Drive adoption of digital tools and AI-enabled workflows by engaging functional leadership and embedding new capabilities into existing work processes
  • Establish train-the-trainer models in partnership with Lean and continuous improvement training teams for scalable, plant-level delivery of digital content
  • Measure and report on training completion, adoption rates, and behavior change across digital initiatives

Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Education, Human Resources, Engineering, Business, or a related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in organizational change management, learning and development, or digital adoption, with meaningful experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Demonstrated experience leading change management for technology, digital, or system implementations
  • Prosci/ADKAR certification or equivalent change management methodology certification (or commitment to obtain within the first year)
  • Proven ability to design and deliver training for technical and professional audiences (curriculum design, classroom, virtual/blended formats)
  • Experience building skills frameworks, competency models, or role-based learning paths
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across functions, plants, and teams without direct authority
  • Willingness to travel to manufacturing sites (estimated 30–40%)

Experiences/Education - Desired

  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS); experience with SAP SuccessFactors a plus
  • Working knowledge of AI tools, digital agents, dashboarding, or related technologies used in modern manufacturing environments
  • Experience developing communications plans, awareness campaigns, or change adoption toolkits
