Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Project Team Leader to manage the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects. This role is ideal for a motivated leader who excels at collaboration, clear communication, and problem-solving. The Project Team Leader will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
- Ensure projects align with organizational objectives and client expectations.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, including team members, clients, and senior management.
- Identify project risks and challenges, develop solutions, and keep projects on track.
- Monitor progress, track milestones, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
- Allocate and manage resources effectively to optimize team performance and efficiency.
- Motivate and support team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years manufacturing experience or military experience in a technical environment
- 2+ years team leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience managing projects - preferred related to facilities growth, expansion, and organizational needs
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and allocate resources effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support team members.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

The range for this position is $80,750.00 - $111,031.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
