Finance Senior Coordinator

Role Purpose

Serves as a key contributor for a given process area and or system. Performs established operational processes, providing support for inquiries, issues, and requests from assigned areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Supports compliance procedures, gaining exposure to relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
• Supports and networks with business units, functions to understand needs, trends, and current solutions.
• Assists with tracking operational metrics, analyzing trends and highlighting key performance indicators.
• Performs and supports ad hoc and routine operational activities.
• Assists in the maintenance of documentation, documentation processes, and strong internal control environment.

Tax

• Assists in compiling tax forms and documentation required for tax returns; provides support to tax processes.
• Coordinates and maintains good working relationship with internal customers, providing tax support to members of the control and finance functions.
• Maintains system data, posting entries to the General Ledger and running reports as needed.
• Maintains and updates spreadsheets used for various tax processes.
• Archives, retrieves, and maintains files in compliance with DARM.
• Supports tax team in domestic and international tax audits (e.g., gathering information).

Treasury

• Maintains required logs and analyzes exception reports; ensures processes are within internal and external standards.
• Runs reports to pull data, compiles monthly metrics, and reports trends to management; monitors and tracks key financial documents.
• Performs settlement solutions and resolves outstanding invoices (e.g., banks, finance), facilitating domestic and cross-border funds transfers.
• Performs troubleshooting for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Leverages established software tools and systems.
• Performs day-to-day banking administration, developing relationships with external parties and managing information sharing (e.g., statements, routine correspondence)

Experiences/Education - Required

• Experience supporting and performing daily activities, leveraging experiences to streamline processes in an efficient and timely manner.
• Proven ability establishing a systematic course of action to execute a range of routine and ad hoc requests.
• Demonstrated ability serving as a systems resource to answer questions from both Finance and non-Finance audiences.
• Experience developing relationships within assigned and related areas.

Tax

• Exposure to tax documentation required for returns and other tax reporting requirements.
• Exposure to tax and general accounting principles.
• Experience using systems for data collection and reporting (e.g., tax, general ledger, budgeting, forecasting, etc.).
• Experience supporting the maintenance of internal control documentation.

Treasury

• Experience interfacing with external parties to respond to routine and recurring information requests.
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of own treasury function and delivers accurate work.
• Gains exposure to settlement operations, assisting with bank applications and data management

Experiences/Education - Desired

• Exposure to participating on larger projects.
• Demonstrated initiative in building relationships with colleagues within assigned and related areas.
• Experience utilizing internal resources and tools.
