What is your role?

As the HTR Payroll Supervisor, you will lead the North America payroll operations team, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while fostering a culture of quality, compliance, continuous improvement, and talent development. This role supports the broader Shared Services vision by driving operational excellence, digital transformation, and outstanding customer service.

 

What will you do?

  • Lead and oversee end-to-end North America payroll operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing, including payroll sign-off, funding approvals, and year-end activities.
  • Manage complex payroll issues and escalations, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to drive timely resolution and a positive employee experience.
  • Monitor operational performance through KPIs, controls, and process reviews, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, compliance, and service delivery.
  • Champion a culture of operational excellence by ensuring adherence to payroll policies and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead, develop, and support team members through workforce planning, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management while maintaining adequate coverage and segregation of duties.
  • Drive digital transformation and process optimization efforts that enhance scalability, accuracy, and overall business value.
  • Build strong partnerships across HR, Finance, business leadership, vendors, and regulatory agencies to support organizational objectives and payroll operations.

 

What Do You Need to Have?

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of payroll experience, including at least 2 years leading or supervising teams.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations, payroll operations, compliance requirements, and timekeeping practices.
  • Experience working with payroll, HRIS, and time management systems, with the ability to analyze data, identify risks, and resolve complex issues.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with strong attention to detail and process discipline.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead through change, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
