IT Solution Architect Order to Cash

Role Purpose

As an IT Solution Architect – Order to Cash, you will serve as the strategic technology partner for one of Corning's most critical commercial business processes. You will lead the design and evolution of end to end IT solutions that support how Corning manages everything from customer order to cash collection at a global scale. Partnering closely with business process owners, technology teams, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will translate complex business needs into smart, scalable architectural solutions that drive operational efficiency and business growth. 

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable IT solutions for Order to Cash processes including order management, customer billing, credit management, collections, and cash application ensuring alignment with global enterprise architecture standards.
• Partner with business stakeholders across commercial, finance, and operations to capture requirements and transform them into clear solution designs, blueprints, and technology roadmaps.
• Lead solution reviews, technology evaluations, and cross-functional workshops to identify opportunities for process and system improvement across OTC platforms.
• Collaborate with global IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration of OTC solutions with adjacent enterprise systems, including ERP, CRM, financial platforms, and data analytics tools. 

Experiences/Education - Required

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT solution architecture with hands-on expertise in Order to Cash (OTC) end-to-end business processes.
• Solid knowledge of ERP platforms supporting OTC such as SAP SD/AR, Oracle Order Management, or equivalent enterprise solutions including integration design and system architecture.
• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable IT solution designs, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Experience collaborating with global, cross functional teams in a matrixed corporate environment, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills. 
• Ability to present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non technical audiences. 
• Advanced English proficiency written and spoken required. Spanish fluency essential for this Monterrey based role.
