What Is Your Role?

As a Network Security Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing, deploying, and optimizing Network Access Control (NAC) solutions that keep Corning's global infrastructure secure and compliant. Working across both manufacturing and corporate environments, you will manage enterprisen scale Cisco ISE deployments, enforce secure access policies, and leverage automation and API integrations to drive scalable, infrastructure-as-code operations. This is a high visibility role where your technical expertise directly protects a global network spanning multiple industries, time zones, and cultures.

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage enterprise NAC solutions administer Cisco ISE clusters, develop RADIUS and TACACS policies, and enforce secure access controls for users and devices across wired, wireless, and data networks.
  • Drive automation and scalability by integrating Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Python, Ansible, and API integrations to streamline NAC deployments and policy enforcement at enterprise scale.
  • Ensure network reliability and compliance through proactive monitoring, certificate management, performance troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and documentation via ServiceNow.
  • Lead and collaborate on network projects develop design documentation, implementation plans, and support new solution rollouts, upgrades, and cross-functional stakeholder communications.

 

What Do You Need to Have?

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience
  • Proven experience deploying and supporting Cisco ISE in large enterprise environments, including building rules, policies, and ISE solutions across diverse infrastructures (wired, wireless, and data networks)
  • Hands on experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Python, Ansible, and API integrations for NAC deployments and policy enforcement
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and application transport protocols, with the ability to create accurate network diagrams and design documentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to navigate cross-functional teams across geographies, time zones, and cultures
  • Availability for after-hours on-call support, maintenance windows, and critical incident response
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including potential international destinations
