Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

 

 

 

Role Purpose

Provide support in labor relations, personnel administration, and employee services processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies, maintaining updated records, and providing timely follow-up on activities related to operational staff.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
  • Maintain employee files and records updated and organized.
  • Generate and analyze absenteeism and employee turnover reports.
  • Prepare monthly reports on Labor Relations area activities.
  • Follow up on safety reports and incidents.
  • Support the organization of internal employee events.
  • Provide support in coordinating cafeteria and transportation services.
  • Coordinate communication meetings directed to operational staff.

 

 

Required Skills

  • Active undergraduate student in Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, in the final year of studies.
  • English with verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive attitude and high level of self-motivation.

 

 

Desired Skills

  • Experience in labor relations and personnel administration.
  • Knowledge of time management practices.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Interest in Psychology or affinity with people management.
