Scope of Position (i.e. projects involved with and role within group): Participate in the development, design, fabrication, test, installation, startup and support of complete integrated control systems. Ensures the conversion of customer requirements into total systems solutions that meet all requirements including schedule and cost.


Day to Day Responsibilities: Develop controls software in Rockwell Automation’s Studio 5000, PLC ladder logic or high-level languages like C. Develop HMI software. Work with drawings and schematics. Troubleshoot, repair and restore existing control systems. Work on individual projects or participate on team projects. Help to establish project requirements and develop project scope. Assist with design and development of complete control systems for process equipment and measurement systems.


Travel Requirements (please note if international): Minimal. Typically only for training, conferences and interfacing with vendors.

Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: Typically 40 hours per week M-F, but can be project dependent. Flex time; core hours are 9-3.

Education and Experience (minimum required for consideration) B.S Electrical Engineering


Required Skills (These are skills that candidates MUST possess)

• Experience with PLC’s and PAC’s, preferably Rockwell Automation

• Experience programming in Studio5000 / RSLogix5000

• Experience troubleshooting electrical circuits

• Experience developing HMI’s (FactoryTalk View / Panelview)

• Knowledge of AC and DC circuits


Desired Skills (These are skills that would be nice for candidates to possess)

• Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLC’s and PAC’s

• Motion Control Programming

• Wiring AC / DC Circuits

• Electrical Troubleshooting
